"We Dance" one day Festival

The Second Edition of the "We Dance" Festival, Saturday only.

After the magical success of our first gathering, we are excited to bring you the Second Edition of the "We Dance" Festival! Join us as we continue to root our community, deepen our connections, and dance with expanded love.

"We Dance Festival" brings together various dance communities that share values of connection, embodiment, and exploration. At the heart of our experience is Contact Improvisation, complemented by the enriching flavors of Gaga and Ecstatic Dance.

Location:
The festival will be held at Kulturkirche Paulus, one of the most beautiful churches in Basel, featuring a stunning main hall with a new wooden floor, an additional 100m2 hall with a fishbone wooden floor, a chill-out area, a kitchen, and a grassy terrace.

Food:
Enjoy a shared buffet where everyone contributes something delicious for lunch and we offer you a bio soup for dinner. Our community space has a  kitchenette for coffee, tea and food prep.

Program Overview:
We begin the day warming up our bodies with an energizing Gaga Class. We then flow into connection practice with Contact Improvisation (CI) for beginners or an expirianced Class. After lunch break, we join an all level CI Class into Jam *With live music. A dinner break with Bio soup. We end the day with Ecstatic Dance.

11:30 - 13:00 - Contact Improvisation Class
Beginners - with Nadja Schwarzenbach
Expirianced -with  Dorothee Daester

13:00 - 14:30 - Potlock Lunch & Fun 

14:30 - 17:00 - Class Into Jam - with Diane Gemsh & Live Music

17:00 - 19:00 - Bio Dinner & Chill

19:15 - 22:00 - Ecstatic Dance - with Ariella Azran with DJ TBD

How is this festival different than the last one?
Its only one day. Teachers Teach with a head microphone. 
We have a crazy good upgraded sound system for the Ecstatic Dance. We have a solid and generous support team. We are improving and refining the global festival expiriance.
