Basel's own Silent Book Club is gathering for our bi-weekly Tuesday reading session on 1.7. 19.00 in Schützenmattpark. We have small signs, but the best way to find us is to contact us on Instagram so you get the group chat link - the exact location, as well as all info of our events, is shared there.
We first settle and chat a bit, and then start a silent reading hour together at 19.30. One hour of silent reading while surrounded by people also deeply concentrated in their books is some kind of magic! You're welcome to continue reading after, or share and discuss with others what you've been reading. You can read whatever you wish, in any format you like.
We are a small community gathering every 2 weeks on Tuesdays, plus organising a monthly Friday gathering. Anyone wishing to spend more time reading (in good company) is welcome to join!
