A physician and Indigenous knowledge keeper from the Omágua-Kambeba People of the Brazilian Amazon, Adana works across Indigenous medicine, Western science and the protection of Indigenous knowledge and cultural rights.
On 22 September, she’ll join us for:
From Renaissance to Confluence: Cosmic Diplomacy and a New Paradigm for Psychedelic Science in the Global South
Adana will explore how psychedelic science can build more reciprocal relationships with Indigenous peoples and their knowledge traditions. Through the concept of Cosmic Diplomacy, she invites us to reconsider how research is conducted, whose knowledge is recognised, and what meaningful collaboration can look like.
We’re looking forward to welcoming familiar faces and new ones for our first evening together this semester. Everyone is welcome—bring your questions and join the conversation! ✨
