The Fertility Rabbit Hole - a session for the boldly curious

Fertility is one of those topics everyone has feelings about — and almost no one talks about honestly. The medical system can feel overwhelming. The emotional journey is rarely acknowledged. Insurance coverage is confusing. And alternative approaches are often dismissed or misunderstood.

In this session, the hosts Valerie and Bilge, co-creators of the fertility companion workbook I am Magic, and together with the audience, will talk about a genuinely full-picture-situation. No sugarcoating. No single narrative. Just an honest, multi-dimensional conversation about fertility today, grounded in lived experience and professional expertise. The session invites the audience into the rabbit hole with curiosity, openness, and the reassurance that whatever their fertility story is — they are not alone.

About the Workshop Facilitators:

Bilge is the founder of Tiny Pea and a women’s health advocate passionate about making fertility information more accessible, supportive, and empowering. With a background in Computer Science and a master’s in Digital Marketing, she combines analytical thinking, empathy, and creativity to create practical tools like this expert-reviewed workbook, while also encouraging more open conversations around fertility through projects such as her TEDx talk, Coming Out of the Fertility Closet.

Valerie is co-creator of Tiny Pea and a communications professional passionate about equity, empowerment, and opening up honest conversations around fertility. Together with Bilge Apak Sato, she created I Am Magic, an expert-reviewed workbook designed to support women with practical guidance, emotional support, and self-reflection tools throughout the fertility journey.
