What’s the difference between a Chablis and a Chardonnay? Why do some wines taste completely different from others? And how are you actually supposed to know what you like?

In this 1.5-hour introduction, Etta takes you on a little journey through the world of wine — with stories, good wine and plenty of tasting.

We’ll talk about the basics, discover wines made by women and learn how to taste without overthinking it.
The course is held in Swiss German and is made for anyone who has little or no wine knowledge but would like to understand a little more, feel more confident and simply have fun exploring wine.

No complicated wine language. No pretending to know more than you do. Just good wine, good stories and a feminist take on the world behind the bottle.

Originally from Bern and based in Paris for over four years, Etta is an independent sommelier and wine educator working across wine, gastronomy and culture. She loves telling the stories behind the bottles and making wine feel less intimidating, more accessible and more fun to explore. She is also the co-founder of WoWomen.
