FLOORWORK - Pop-up Workshop Series
Join us Saturday October 3rd for dancy vibes!:) / Free Contemporary Dance Workshop
Tanzhaus Zürich, Studio 2
Come dance from 14:00-17:00. We go for Apero afterwards if you want to join.
The workshop contains 2 blocks with a short break in between:
Floorwork fundamentals, exploring weight, momentum, transitions and ways of moving through the floor. This is followed by a partnering block, were we practice sharing weight, following another body, and lifts.
The class starts with a warm up and finishes with flexibility work or stretching.
Level: Beginner/intemediate. You do not have to be a dancer, but openness to trying out something new and openness to work with others will make it more fun. Focus is on giving you tips on how to make movements smoother and more accessible, we are not building a long phrase that you need to remember.
This workshop is a test of the concept for coming workshops that will take place later in Oct-Dec. Feedback highly appreciated!
