Sons of Jumira (NL)
Sons of Jumira is a spirited ensemble from the Netherlands creating soundscapes rooted in an amalgamation of cultural inspirations and a commitment to paving a path outside the standardised music categories. The trio brings together double bassist Julian Tjon Sack Kie, drummer Mill Voyance, and harpist Ranie Ribeiro—a lineup as unique as their sound. Each musician adds their distinctive voice to the collective, weaving textures that are at once captivating, innovative, and deeply engaging. Whether on stage or in the moment of creation, Sons of Jumira invites listeners into a musical journey where tradition meets experimentation, and boundaries dissolve into pure expression.

Their interplay creates a rich sound world that feels both contemporary and timeless. The Valentin Liechti Trio will present for the first time live their new album ‘ n o w what? ’ which will come out early 2026. The music sails along the horizon of the new jazz and takes the listener into a dreamlike landscape.
