HISTORIA NATIVITATIS ist eine historisch fundierte, neu gestaltete Version der Weihnachtshistorie von Heinrich Schütz. Werke von Hammerschmidt, Praetorius, Scheidt, Briegel, Michael und anderen fügen sich zu einem lebendigen Oratorium, das barocke Klangpracht und erzählerische Kraft vereint.

Für die Aufführungen in Vitznau werden Kinder aus den Seegemeinden aktiv eingebunden. Durch eine gezielte Vorbereitung und die gemeinsamen Aufführung mit professionellen Musiker*innen erleben die junge Sänger*innen die Musk von der Bühne aus und werden selbst Teil der Geschichte.
