Join us for a special film screening of Those Who Remain, a compelling 2016 Lebanese documentary directed by Eliane Raheb. Presented by [un]framespace in collaboration with Theater Stok, this event takes place on June 24th, 2026, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at Theater STOK, Hirschengraben 42, Zürich.
In the far north of Lebanon, in the area of Shambouq near the Syrian border, lives Haykal, a 60-year-old farmer. He builds his home, farm, and restaurant with his own hands, facing challenges with determination and embodying a spirit of resilience in a complex geographical landscape.
The 95-minute film will be presented in Arabic with English subtitles, followed by an engaging discussion and a cozy homemade apéro, offering an opportunity to connect with other attendees.
