The Room is Listening
What if the room is paying attention? Underneath the silence we take for granted, there's a whole reality we never stop to notice: what the plant think of you, what your heart says to your brain, whether the chair in the back is judging you right now.
This show gives voice to all of it. Humans won't be the main characters here: the objects, the feelings, the silent presences that share our space will be. On stage, everything talks, everything feels, everything has an opinion.
Will you ever look at an empty room the same way again? There's just one way to find out: be there when it happens.
The Urban Campfire brings together improvisers of all stripes who love to tell longer stories. Each show is lovingly created and directed by another improviser, this one by Anna Leidi (Milquetoast). Each cast is assembled just for one evening, and the result is fresh, surprising, and sometimes downright magical. Additional shows on September 11, in English, and January 16, in German.
Every show is followed by a community event, open to improvisers and audience members.
