HARD_BREAK </3 is a collective breakup ritual somewhere between a karaoke stage, a techno club, and a rage room. Breakup becomes a performative and choreographic practice: the space turns into a walk-in collage of fractured movements, repetitive loops, collective smashing, and tender reassembling. Starting from romantic separation, the performance opens onto larger, necessary breaks: with toxic patterns, neoliberal imperatives, and the longing for the “good old days.” At a time when reactionary narratives are gaining power across the world, HARD_BREAK </3 invites us to break with inherited patterns and collectively experiment with new forms of relationship, identity, and futures.

Breakup wird als performative und choreografische Praxis erforscht: Der Raum wird zur begehbaren Collage aus gebrochenen Bewegungen, wiederholten Loops, kollektivem Zerschlagen und zärtlichem Wiederzusammensetzen. Ausgehend von der romantischen Trennung öffnet die Performance den Blick auf größere, notwendige Brüche: mit toxischen Mustern, neoliberalen Imperativen und der Sehnsucht nach den „guten alten Zeiten“. In einer Zeit, in der reaktionäre Narrative weltweit an Macht gewinnen, lädt HARD_BREAK </3 dazu ein, sich von überkommenen Mustern zu lösen und gemeinsam neue Formen von Beziehung, Identität und Zukunft zu erproben.
