Comedy Killers of Basel - English Stand Up

Basel isn't boring if you know where to look!

An evening of comedy with some of Basel's thriving comedy scene's top performers. Each with distinct voices and backgrounds, we are sure you'll find something to love and laugh at. Join us at The Beast Comedy Club as each performer does a longer set so they can really invite you into their world.

The show is flexibly priced in order to ensure accessibility to the arts for all. Please assess for yourself what is in your budget and if you are doing well, consider being generous a way to support this policy for the less fortunate. Comedy is for everyone!

The show will be hosted by Teddy Hall (@teddyhallcomedy), a Basel local comedian that now headlines shows all around Europe and winner of Reykjavik Fringe Festival's "Best Stand Up Comedy" in 2025. Thrives in manic and chaotic shows.

The show will feature these acts:

Leila Ladari (@leilaladari) - As seen on her own SRF show "Leila's Fix", Leila is one of Switzerland's leading comedic voices that regularly shows her acerbic wit and fearlessness covering everything, no taboo left unturned. 

Toto Nguyen (@totonguyencomedy) - Exciting up and coming Vietnamese-Hungarian comedian with bags of charm and comedy full of twists and turns as well as keen insights into the immigrant experience in Switzerland and beyond.

Albert Louw (@laughing_albert) - Founder of Switzerland's first dedicated comedy club, South African import Albert brings a love of colour, animals, and wild "must-be-heard-to-be-believed" storytelling to the stage. 

Andrija Stepanenko (@andrija.stepanenko) - A Serbian-American with the confidence to challenge preconceptions and find humour in politics and darker territories. An honest and energetic performer.
