Two community deep-dives — two people from amongst us share what they are building, learning, or working through in depth. The rest of the room gets to ask questions, share ideas, and push the thinking. Followed by a full hour of open networking.
Who is this for?
For builders and practitioners who want to share their process openly: tools, workflows, mistakes, tech stack, what's working and what isn't.
For people who have something built and want to demonstrate it to a room of practitioners — a product, app, or service that's live, in early sales, or approaching launch. Feedback here tends to be real and specific.
For people who are just starting out and want to hear what others are building: as long as you're happy to introduce yourself and share where you are in your learning. Challenges and honest questions are what make this room work.
In all cases: no pitch decks, no sales energy. Just real work and honest conversation.

About the organiser
I'm Janani, based in Basel. I've spent most of my career building communities and supporting learning across different countries and contexts through NGOs, capacity building work, and whatever city I happened to be living in at the time.
I work on projects about digital governance for INGOs and non‑profits. My focus is on practical workflows, capacity building, and Global South perspectives. AI Circle Basel grows out of that work. A space I wished existed here, so I started it.
