Mit seinem «Historischen Kabarett» hat Benedikt Meyer ein neues Genre erfunden. Nun filousophiert der Historiker in «Plusquamperfekt» mit feinem Schalk über Wilhelm Tells Verwandlungen, unsere Liebe zum Automobil und unsere Obsession mit der Frage, wer in der Steinzeit eigentlich die Höhle aufgeräumt hat. Mit dem Zeppelin geht’s in poetische Höhen, Schmetterlinge verändern die Welt und drei junge Schweizer verbreiten Angst und Schrecken in Paris. Leichtfüssig, geistreich und mit augenzwinkerndem Witz: «Plusquamperfekt» bietet Gegenwartsanalyse und Geschichtsstunde der anderen Art.
