Die Literatur-Aktivisten Dominik Bartels und Jörg Schwedler lesen satirische Geschichten über das Leben im ehemaligen Arbeiter- und Bauernstaat. Mit einer gehörigen Portion Selbstironie verwandeln sie dabei jeden Veranstaltungsort in den VEB Literaturbetrieb, das Kombinat für Wortkunst oder in die LPG Satire.

Die Show ist eine Mischung aus Lesung und Comedy. Seit über fünf Jahren touren die beiden Autoren damit durch das Land. Hüben wie drüben. Die Lesungen haben sich herumgesprochen. Sie sind äußerst unterhaltsam und meistens ausverkauft. Was die zwei erfahrenen Lesebühnenautoren präsentieren, ist jedoch keine Ostalgie-Show, sondern mehr einen augenzwinkernden Rückblick auf die Kindheit als Pionier, das Älterwerden im wilden Westen und die Absurditäten im Alltag zwischen Plattenbau und Pioniernachmittagen. Dazu wird stilecht Pfeffi serviert und über die DDR philosophiert.
