In London during World War II, a group of young people take shelter in an underground station as bombs fall above them. Surrounded by fear, uncertainty, and loss, Alice begins to tell the story of Alice in Wonderland, creating a space where reality and imagination begin to blur.
Alice by Heart is a poetic and deeply moving musical adaptation about growing up, letting go, and the power of imagination. The characters exist between two worlds: the harsh reality of war and the vivid, sometimes dark world of Wonderland.
With its haunting contemporary score and powerful ensemble moments, the production asks: how do we cope with loss, and what holds us together when everything falls apart?
