Join us for a trip to one of Switzerland’s most impressive natural landmarks. The Aareschlucht offers a unique walk through limestone cliffs and turquoise glacial waters, featuring a path carved directly into the rock.
The Walk: Easy and flat. It takes about 45–60 minutes to walk through the tunnels and walkways.
Fast Facts about the Gorge:
- The gorge was formed over thousands of years as the Aare River eroded the limestone ridge.
- It is 1.4 kilometers long and reaches depths of up to 200 meters.
