Søren Kjærgaard's lecture explores feedback culture as a core element of teaching and learning across a wide range of artistic disciplines, contexts, and didactic formats. Drawing on insights from artistic research and arts pedagogy—particularly practices developed at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen – it investigates how the interplay between presentational formats and attentive feedback can support peer-based learning, critical thinking, and artistic development.
The lecture will present concrete examples and approaches, while also addressing broader aspects of cultivating a sound learning environment and feedback culture – both between teachers and students and among peers.
