Man stelle sich vor,  Außerirdische hätten sich in den 1990er Jahren John Scofield und die Red Hot Chili Peppers ausgeliehen und sie in ihrem Raumschiff Songs von Pink Floyd und Radiohead covern lassen. Herausgekommen wären ekstatische Hymnen aus markanten Gitarrenriffs und über-lässigen Grooves. Diese Musik wurde in drei Gehirnen codiert und auf die Erde zurück gebeamt. Dort wartet sie geduldig in drei jungen Jazz-Musikern bis ins Jahr 2012 auf ihre Symbiose zum mindbreaking Trio: Jo Aldinger’s Downbeatclub. Die drei Instrumentalisten an E-Gitarre, Hammondorgel und Schlagzeug sprengen mit ihrem innovativen Sound alle Grenzen und entführen ihr Publikum direkt wieder auf eine faszinierende Reise durch die Musik-Universen. Ihre Spielfreude und ihr gegenseitiges Verständnis sind ansteckend.

Jo Aldinger’s Downbeatclub ist weit mehr als nur ein Konzert. Es ist ein Erlebnis, das einen so schnell nicht mehr loslässt. Energie und Kreativität dieser einzigartigen Band scheinen grenzenlos.
