Musik zwischen Erde und Kosmos

Der Schwerpunktfachchor, das Orchester "ad hoc" unde Solist*innen des Gymnasiums Kirchfeld nehmen das Publikum auf eine klangliche Reise ins All und präsentiert Musik über Planeten, Sterne und die Fragen nach dem Ursprung des Lebens.

Im Zentrum stehen Werke mit sphärischen Klangflächen, die zum Träumen anregen, unter anderem Christopher Tins Astronomy, Jonathan Doves Seek Him That Maketh the Seven Stars sowie Karl Jenkins’ Adiemus. Wie jedes Jahr werden Solist*innen des Gymnasiums im ersten Teil des Konzerts sowohl solistisch als auch gemeinsam mit dem Orchester auftreten. Zudem führt das Orchester «ad hoc» Marius Zehnders Maturaarbeit, die Ouvertüre zu Another World, auf. Der Erlös des Abends unterstützt einen wohltätigen Zweck.
