Welcome to VOLTA Kammermusikfest 2025! This year’s motto, Wendepunkte (inflection points), grows directly from the meaning of volta: a turn, a moment of transformation. Our programmes celebrate the great masterpieces of the chamber music tradition and place them alongside works by today’s composers, presenting the repertoire in a way that feels fresh, innovative, and connected to our time. There is something for everyone here, with music ranging from Mozart, to Steve Reich, Korngold, Mendelssohn, Schoenberg and beyond.
