Too Ukrainian & Too Scottish Comedy

A Scotsmen and a Ukrainian walk into a comedy club with nothing in common but a shared love for their national liquor and a shared historical distaste for their imperialist neighbours. 

Join top European touring comedians Pavlo Voytovych, a Ukrainian living in Berlin, and Teddy Hall, a Scotsman based in Basel, for a blockbuster night of comedy all about how our cultures help make us who we are. Expect jokes and hilarious stories surrounding life across Europe and all the ways that cultures clashing and melding is part of what makes Europe beautiful. All are welcome! Even the French.

The show takes place at Switzerland's first comedy club: The Beast, located at Pfluggässlein 10.

Palya is an Ukraine-born / Berlin-based TV writer and comedian. During the day he produces funny content for TV and YouTube. Then, when the night comes, Palya replaces his keyboard with a microphone and sweatpants with better sweatpants and brings laughter to live audiences around Germany and Europe. In English.

Teddy Hall
Since learning his trade as a comedian in London in 2016, Teddy has been performing across Europe for years, exciting audiences with an unpredictable and quick-witted brand of comedy all about language, mental health, sexuality, and dentists. In his base of Basel, Switzerland, he has founded and runs On The Run Comedy Club, an independent European comedy touring comedy and co-produces and hosts Comic Strip, a variety show renowned for its beautiful chaos.
Headlining shows across Europe and featuring on television in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Romania, Teddy's comedy veers from the profound to the inane to the stupid, keeping audiences on their toes, despite this being a very uncomfortable way to sit. 
Teddy was nominated for a Swiss Comedy Award (and lost) and has also featured on Comedy Central DE Roast Battle. Furthermore, Teddy is the only mainland Europe based comedian to be featured on the OnlyfansTV showcase, filmed at Edinburgh Fringe 2024. Teddy has opened for Todd Barry, Victor Patrascan, Dragos, Ashley Gavin, Robby Slowik, Casey Balsham, TJ, Daniel Ryan Spaulding, Anna Beros, Emma Dalenberg, Gauri B and many more.
