This is a stand up comedy show by expat comedians who worked in science to make the world a better place but have come to the unoriginal conclusion that laughter is the best medicine. Or at least it is only medicine they can afford.
Bernard (@bernardskomedy) is a Swiss based comedian with a double immigration background, a double degree and who's starting to develop a double chin. He doubles down on his commitment to making silly wordplay jokes in his third language to audiences of non native English speakers every night. Quickly realising that this performance style has no viable commercial future, he decided to also monetize his family and personal trauma through dark jokes that he mostly comes up with during therapy sessions.
Malinda Perera (@malinda.perera) is a Sri Lankan comedian based in Vienna, Austria, who began his stand-up journey in 2016 and quickly rose to success. After moving to Austria for a master’s in Business Informatics, he left academia in 2019 to pursue comedy full-time. Malinda has performed in over 25 countries, headlined across Europe, and appeared on RTÉ’s No Worries If Not (Season 1). His debut solo special, Not A Drug Dealer, had a sold-out run across 50 cities in 24 countries and is now available to stream for free on YouTube. He is the resident host at N2O Comedy Club - Vienna.
