Join ESN FHNW on a panoramic adventure to Mount Rigi, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful viewpoints! 🌄

We’ll hike the Rigi Panorama Trail, a scenic 10 km route with breathtaking views of the Alps and Lake Lucerne. The hike takes about 3 hours and is suitable for beginners too — just remember to wear proper shoes, as the trail goes through forest paths and gets a little steeper towards the end.

• Distance: ~10 km

• Duration: ~3 hours

• Difficulty: Easy – moderate (great for beginners)

• Terrain: Forest trails (not asphalt)

• Return train ticket from Olten/Basel SBB

• Rigi Bahnen ticket (with seat reservation)

The mountain weather can be unpridicable and change a short time before, if the weather on October 25 is too poor for Mount Rigi, we’ll visit another mountain instead — the destination will be decided shortly before the trip. (Your day ticket will still be valid.)
