Gaza, a blockaded city, the world's largest open-air prison, has been effectively annihilated and made functionally unlivable. Despite this, 1.8 million of the 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza reside in the enclave.
While more than 115,000 have crossed into Egypt seeking refuge, their condition remains dire.
Trapped between displacement and uncertainty, they struggle to find medical care or even a place to stay. When even sanctuary fails, can hope survive for Gaza's people?
