Exams can be a challenging time for students—and for parents too. While a small amount of stress can be motivating, excessive exam anxiety can interfere with learning, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. This workshop helps parents understand what’s really going on beneath the surface and how to provide calm, effective support.
In this session, you will learn how to:
-
Recognise the signs of unhealthy exam stress and anxiety
-
Build resilience and confidence in your child during assessment periods
-
Support the development of effective study skills and exam strategies
-
Teach practical anxiety-management techniques your child can use before and during exams
Parents will leave with concrete tools to help their child feel more prepared, capable, and emotionally supported during exam periods.
We aim to create a warm, interactive space — so we ask that cameras are on where possible. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, although we won’t be able to provide detailed guidance for individual children during the session. Sharing experiences and participating in discussion makes the workshop more engaging and valuable for everyone involved.
