Meet the Artist Night with Sheyla Mychelle Pérez

*Event hosted in English*

16+ event - Limited spots available

The Buchhandlung Seitenweise is very excited to announce that we are hosting an exclusive and open discussion with our local artist Sheyla Mychelle Pérez on November 20th, 2026. Sheyla's work has been displayed in the bookstore since February of this year. Her work is a beautiful mixture of world politics and her own experience as a two-time migrant, having been born in Puerto Rico and grown up in the United Kingdom States. Now living in Germany, Sheyla explores her own life experiences of creating homes away from home through her art. Her newest pieces are a testament to her roots in Old San Juan, and we invite you to experience the beauty and power of Sheyla's artistic expression in the cozy environment of our independent bookstore.
