With hearts full of joy, we’re announcing another very special roda de samba in Berlin – this time inside a magical tent at Circus Cabuwazi in Treptow 🎪
We celebrate the visit of our dear friend from Rio Douglas Lemos, surrounded by a true family of musicians and friends who make this gathering possible. Every voice, every instrument, every smile will come together to keep alive the flame of samba de raiz – music of love, memory, and community.
✨ About A Panda do Sol
Formed in Berlin in 2016, A Panda do Sol reimagines the roots of samba in dialogue with choro, New Orleans jazz, French chanson, and Afro-Atlantic rhythms. Their rodas — from streets and parks to the city’s most unexpected corners — have become a celebration of friendship, poetry, and popular song.

Coming straight from Rio de Janeiro, Douglas Lemos is a singer and percussionist with a striking voice and an infectious stage presence. His music celebrates the joy and vitality of samba, infused with the spirit of pagode, carnival, and the Carioca street. He joins this roda to share his rhythm and warm Berlin’s heart.

Celebramos a visita do nosso querido amigo do Rio, @douglaslemosdg, cercados por uma verdadeira família de músicos e amigos que tornam esta festa possível. Cada voz, cada instrumento e cada sorriso vão se unir para manter viva a chama do samba raiz, música que fala de amor, memória e encontro.
✨ Sobre A Panda do Sol
A Panda do Sol nasceu em Berlim em 2016 e desde então vem reinventando a tradição do samba de raiz em diálogo com o choro, o jazz de New Orleans, a chanson francesa e os ritmos afro-atlânticos. Suas rodas — em praças, parques e os lugares mais inesperados da cidade — tornaram-se um ponto de encontro de amizade, poesia e música popular.

Diretamente do Rio de Janeiro, Douglas Lemos é cantor e percussionista com uma voz marcante e presença de palco contagiante. Sua arte celebra a força e a alegria do samba, trazendo consigo a energia do pagode, do carnaval e da rua carioca. Nesta roda, ele chega para somar com seu balanço e aquecer os corações berlinenses.
