Catherine Tang, born in Basel to a Serbian mother and Chinese father, creates music shaped by a richly diverse cultural background. Active in the Swiss scene as bandleader of ASRA and sidewoman with Lost in Lona, she released her solo debut Where Do Your Dreams Fly? on UK label Whitelabrecs in November 2025. Using piano and synthesizers, Catherine crafts intimate, minimalist soundscapes where delicate melodies and subtle textures meet. Her music reflects a journey between reality and imagination, inviting the listener into an intimate space that balances fragility with expansiveness, whilst quietly posing a central, open-ended question: where might your own dreams take you, if you were given the freedom to fly?

Aquatic textures, suspended guitars, layered voices, and long reverbs create an intimate, cinematic world, where the listener can lose themselves, and perhaps, find something too.
