‘Bases’ is the new project by Willy Haroun, premiered in the Mozart-Saal of the Liederhalle in Stuttgart on 30 August 2024. It includes a varied programme with his own compositions and arrangements in which Willy Haroun mixes his improvisation with sounds from jazz, classical and Latin music.
Willy Haroun seeks interaction with the music he performs and the musicians and composers who inspire him through a very personal interpretation, based on a conscientious study of the original texts and their language. His repertoire is characterised by its eclecticism.
After a long, varied and intensive musical education at several of the leading Swiss Universities, Willy Haroun is currently in a phase of great personal and professional development and creativity, in which he is trying to define his artistic profile and his personal sound. His genius, his virtuosity, his sensitivity, his ability to improvise and his eclecticism are his trademarks.
