Global Dance Open: SUNDAY (Session 11/12/13/14)

Get ready for a spectacular weekend of dance! Global Dance Open Switzerland is coming to Parktheater Grenchen from May 14–17, 2026. As the official Swiss qualifier for the Global Dance Open Finals in San Sebastián, Spain this summer, this event celebrates the very best of Swiss dance talent.

THURSDAY

• Session 1 & 2 (10:30-12:15): Acrodance & Folklore
• Session 3 (12:30-17:00): Showdance (all categories except Intermediate Large Ensemble)
• Session 4 (18:30-20:30): Jazz Groups & Showdance Intermediate Large Ensemble

FRIDAY

• Session 5 (08:30-12:45): Jazz Solo & Duet/Trio
• Session 6 (13:00-17:15): Hip Hop Solo & Duet/Trio
• Session 7 (18:00-21:45): Hip Hop Crews

SATURDAY

• Session 8 (08:30-13:00): Lyrical Solo (all except Senior), Duet/Trio Mini & Junior
• Session 9 (13:00-18:30): Lyrical Duet/Trio Teen, Intermediate & Senior, Solo Senior, all Groups plus Contemporary Groups Mini & Junior
• Session 10 (19:00-22:00): Contemporary Groups (all except Mini & Junior)

SUNDAY

• Session 11 (08:30-10:45): Ballet & Neoclassical
• Session 12 (11:00-13:30): Contemporary Solo Mini & Teen
• Session 13 (14:00-16:15): Contemporary Solo Junior, Duet/Trio Junior & Teen
• Session 14 (16:30-21:00): Contemporary Solo Intermediate & Senior, Duet/Trio Intermediate & Senior
