Social media is a big part of modern childhood—and it can bring both connection and stress. This hands-on workshop is designed to help parents feel informed, confident, and equipped to guide their child through the digital world with balance and intention.
In this workshop, you will:
-
Get up-to-date on the platforms, apps, and trends popular with today’s children
-
Learn how to have open, effective conversations about online safety, privacy, and cyberbullying
-
Discover practical ways to teach digital citizenship and responsible online behavior
-
Explore strategies to help your child use social media as a positive tool for creativity, connection, and self-expression
Parents will leave with practical language, clear boundaries, and strategies to reduce conflict and support healthier online habits.
We aim to create a warm, interactive space — so we ask that cameras are on where possible. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, although we won’t be able to provide detailed guidance for individual children during the session. Sharing experiences and participating in discussion makes the workshop more engaging and valuable for everyone involved.
