This event is limited to 64 players. We play a maximum of 6 rounds of swiss, depending on the number of participants. Top 8 determine final standings in single elimination.
Rule Enforcement Level: Competitive. You need to submit your decklist before the tournament. Please use this web form to submit your decklist or you may bring a paper decklist.
Judges are on site.
Price pool: Entry fee and prizes are half of the main event prizes. We use a completely transparent prize system based on Credit Points (CP) according to the number of players. One CP is worth CHF 1 and can be used to purchase single cards and sealed product with the dealers on site. Some examples:
24 players: 1. 100 2. 70 3.-4. 43 5.-8. 25
40 players: 1. 168 2. 120 3-4. 140 5-8. 40
64 players: 1. 210 2. 153 3.-4. 85 5-8. 53 9-16. 23
You find a calculator on the event website (and half the numbers shown).
If byes are allowed at SMM 2025*, the winner earns a bye for next year. If we have at least 32 players, the finalist also earns a bye.
This tournament counts for the Swiss Unity League at SUL Regional level.
* We plan to make the Modern tournament at SMM 2025 a destination qualifier.
