Stories Around the Bonfire – An Evening of Auteur Cinema

Stories Around the Bonfire is a curated screening evening dedicated to independent audiovisual storytelling.
A small selection of filmmakers and artists were invited to respond to a shared theme word using the audiovisual medium. The resulting films come together for a single public screening at Zentralwäscherei in Zürich.
Rather than a traditional festival programme, Stories Around the Bonfire is conceived as a recurring gathering around cinema. It's an opportunity to discover personal, atmospheric and independent works and to meet the artists behind them. Following each screening, the audience is invited for a brief conversation with the filmmaker.
